one of my favorite writers, john mcwhorter (who is black and writes about my favorite topics, race and language) is writing a book about how anti-racism is a religion. anti-racism is a religion, and it has original sin and guilt and control etc, just like a real religion. we are increasingly being told about our sins as a country, the NYT 1619 project telling us that our country is deeply and permanently stained by the terrible sin of religion. {edit i meant the sin of racism} as catholics know, guilt is how you control people. thats what the modern left does with racism. make you feel bad about something you/we supposedly did in order to make you bow down (take a knee) in reverence
email i got today from fox sports "Don’t let anyone tell you it doesn’t matter now. Don’t let anyone tell you that Bubba Wallace’s cause, his plight, his courage and his resiliency somehow count for less. Don’t let anyone tell you that all those lump-in-the-throat moments that were produced by NASCAR’s Geico 500 race at Talladega on Monday aren’t worth as much as we thought, because they are."
This. Bigger picture, his reaction is an example that the left is all in on this hostile takeover of the country. What's wrong with saying,"We still have a long way to go, but in this particular case, I'm glad this wasn't what it seemed to be."? Can't do that, because they can't be seen to be backing down one inch.
Loops are racist. That's the narrative on Twitter this morning. All loops are nooses. The idea that a mechanic with oily, greasy hands might put a loop in a pull rope to make it easier to pull down a heavy garage door is an absolutely alien concept to them.
