    Better clean your screen.

Plummer soured me on the Broncos. That and Shanahan's act was getting old.

Here are Cutlers stats from Denver:

    17W - 20L, 54TDs, 37 INTs, with a QB rating of 87.1.

    Franchise QB?? Not yet IMO.

i think i hated him more than cutler since he was dubbed the next montana.

how many times did they say that even when he was sucking. which was every game past his rookie year.

I swore to friends that Jake had incriminating negatives of Shanhan. How else did he stick around?

Mike had a reputation as an offensive genius, but he failed as a GM. Free agents and drafts were terrible.

This was his downfall, I believe he gave up on the Cleveland defensive line too soon for one thing.
He didn't have the rb's the last few years like he did in the past either.

People are making way too much out of this franchise QB thing IMHO.
There are plenty of teams that make it to the super bowl without a franchise QB, Ravens, Bears for starters.
I'm sure you probably could make a case for both sides however when you look at the Broncos record over the last 3 years I would find it hard to believe
that their record could be any worse the next 3 years.
I'm not blaming this on Cutler either, that's not where I'm going here.
Last year the Broncos were a disaster when you look at certain games against Detroit and New England.

The reality of the situation is that the Broncos were in rebuilding mode whether Jay Cutler was in Denver or not.
The Broncos lost quite a few home games and were very beatable at home the last 3 years when compared to their home records of the past.
I really don't believe that they can be any worse off with Kyle Orton or maybe a free agent like Byron Leftwich as long as they can fix some problems on defense.
Defense wins games, not offense in any sport.
Example, Marino and the Phins, Phoenix Suns, etc.

Having said this I do believe the Broncos would've been better off with Jay Cutler but what is done is done.
Today was definitely Jay Cutlers lucky day, it couldn't have worked out any better for him!

I also believe if you have a good Qb that can manage the game and have a running game and defense you can win it all!

It might be fun to watch Cutler and his daddy melt down in big, bad Chicago.

I was kinda hoping he would go to New York.
Can you say culture shock not to mention he would've had to deal with the NY media.

They're pretty hardcore in Chicago, too.
