Don't use the Saints as a measuring stick for free agent acquisitions. Many teams actually know what they are doing, the Saints just aren't one of them.

He's a lot better than a lot of guys who ended up being franchise QB's were when they were 25. Good move by the Bears. They have been a QB away from being top-tier for a long time. They own the Saints, so who knows, maybe they'll beat them 39-14 next time they play. Nevermind.
Physically (arm strength), I would certainly rank him above Orton. Mentally and from a leadership perspective I'm glad he's in Chicago. If he leads the Bears to the Super Bowl I'll be here to eat some crow. It won't be the first time. :wave:
after looking it up it seems that sid luckman was their last "franchise" qb. 1940's. pretty hard to believe. that should tell the broncos something. effective qbs arent a dime a dozen.
