Brody went to his first LSU game on Friday, we went to all three games. He absolutely loved it and had a great time. In fact he had a very good weekend. On Sunday we were standing around by the indoor practice building. He was watching some LSU guys throw the ball around outside and a pitching coach ( I don't remember his name) came up to the fence and gave him a ball. Then my daughter saw Brad Cresse standing there with another guy and he took a picture with Brody. Then to top it off, and the end of the game, we were standing down by the fence waiting for the team to come by and a guy from the Times Picayune took his picture and his picture is in today's paper. So I think that he had a very good weekend.
Were ya'll standing up on the consourse behind home plate (just to the right) and the handycap seating for the first two games?
Then I was very close to ya'll for the first two games. I was the hairy guy in the gold jersey and black lsu hat. I thought the little boy looked familiar from somewhere but I didn't want to walk up to you and ask if you posted on Tigerforums.
I wish you would have, it would have been great to meet you. And I wouldn't have thought anything of it if you did. I love to meet people, that is how you make friends. I am trying to remember who was standing by me, were you to the right or left of me for the first two games?
I was to the left by the walkway down to the seating. I usually was standing up against the the hand rails where they began. Just to left of the walkway so the game marshalls couldn't tell me to clear the walkway. I was listening to the radio broadcast with earbuds on Saturday.
I know where you are talking about, and I think that I remember you. The game marshalls were pretty rough sometimes. I know that they are just doing there job, but gee, they wouldn't even let Brody sit down on the cement. They told me no one was allowed to sit down, you had to stand up. The first game they were really tough, after that they were a little easier on me with Brody, I just saw others were getting away with stuff, so I did the same thing. I wasn't asking for me to sit down, just Brody. I did end up letting him sit on the rail going down to the seats, I wasn't blocking any aisles or anything like that. So they didn't say anything to me then.
