I am pretty much sick and tired of Alabama and all the hype about them getting into the NCG. Screw Bama. Bring their arses on. I don't think it's fair. I think OK State deserves it more due to being a conference champion AND their only loss in my humble opinion was a a direct result of the tragedy their school endured (plane crash, loss of two BB coaches). So I say bring on the Alabama Crimson Tide and let us kick their ever lovin' dog arses and once and for all put a stop to this madness. My only hesitation is it is simply unfair to OK State who I believe deserves their shot, winning their conference, beating more ranked teams than Alabama, and on and on and on.
I have the same sentiments. They couldn't beat us in their own house, so I don't know what makes them think they'll get it right in a technically neutral venue (which is really a home game for us). If I'm honest, and the situations were reversed, I'd be hoping for a rematch, though I'd know deep down it wouldn't be right. So I can't blame them for wanting a rematch. But demanding one is worse. The self-righteous entitlement of an Alabama fan is truly boundless. OSU has played a tougher schedule than Bama, and that loss after their coaches were killed isn't indicative of their body of work this season. They're more deserving of a shot at us. But if ESPN wants a rematch, by gosh we'll give them one.
This LSU squad won't be denied the crystal ball. The fans are going to savor this win even more than ever and would leave zero doubt in the world who has the best friggin program in college football. C'mon people, f@@k the media and the voters. We have come this far to leave behind NOTHING and take away EVERYTHING! This is our season, it is our time. Gumps or pokes, honey badger dont care, CLM don't care, LSU fans shouldn't care!
Bring on the tide! If they don't get their shot, they will piss and moan all the way thru till next season. That whining gives me a headache. BTW, good luck against J Curtis next weekend. It's been a while but I remember the last time Winnfield went to NO!
If Bama plays and Bama wins, they win it all. LSU will be the SEC Champs, but Bama's win will trump that. They will be National Champs. How valuable is the SEC Championship in that scenario? The voters should vote a Conference champ into the big game. I hate to see Conference Championships diminished by allowing non conference champs into the big game.

I agree with you, and I truly think OK State deserves a shot. But I would relish us kicking that Bama arse and then, only then would the world believe we are champs. Bama never will.
You can bet your purple and gold arse that if the roles were reversed lsu wouldn't get the rematch. Bama is one of only a very few teams that can get a rematch because of media bias. Texas, USC, notre dame, Ohio state maybe a couple more that get an unfair bias for them and aginst others.
