An assistant coach moving to an administrative role isn't exactly breaking news or worthy of a press conference. Lane could've gone to be a DL coach at a smaller school in Florida, and that was his plan until this opportunity came up. He will be working with Nader until Nader is ready to retire. Take it FWIW.
Nader is a pretty good "people person". Is Lane a people person? Most DL coaches have unique personalities (not very diplomatic).
