A discussion about getting a player that could actually make the team better would be fun, see the threads about LB's and DT's. A discussion of even the slightest possibility of the Saints picking up a washed up RB with an already loaded and talented bench is depressing and reminds me of the Saints of old. You can discuss anything you like, I'm not trying to limit that, I was just wondering why anyone would even want to even discuss the possibility. I try not to even think it. Bring on the defensive players!!!!Saintslogo|lombardi|

If this is a bad discussion thread, then why do you keep posting in it?

Absolutely agree. Brian Westbrook was a great player. For a guy his size its amazing he has stayed in the NFL as long as he has. What is he, 5'8"? A pure dual threat to run and catch but his days as a feature back are over. He could be a good substitute in the right situation but he cant be an every down guy anymore. I love Westbrook but the eagles let him go for good reason.

Because you obviously don't catch on too quick so I'm here as a constant reminder. Kind of like a public service announcement. You can thank me later when the light bulb finally comes on for you.:D:thumb:

Brian Westbrook should be signed by the Saints to be an example to Reggie Bush.

Reggie already knows how to miss games every year due to injury.
