He's no Burrow from what I see this year however we don't know how he will look with another Spring and fall practice under his belt and knowing he is Da Man next year. Parrish, Aycock, Finley and Johnson there if he falters, no worries.
And you had us on FULL ALERT that Myles Brennan was the second coming of the SEC King of Kings of QBs these past years ... AYATOLLAH OF PISTOLA ... A REAL GUNSLINGER ... Myles Brennan plays with that second team offense in mop up ... He runs MOP UP to kill clock when the game is already over and he doesn’t often get chances to go wide open. He runs plays he’s told to run and he still hits over 60% of his passes ... When he does play, he’s at distinct disadvantage versus Joe as he’s running second team ... A THINKER can’t even attempt to compare the two all things considered right now ... Just sayin’ ... I’m saying the drop off ain’t that huge right now and Brennan is ready if Joe goes down (With Dirty Auburn or ALA, that’s an early 1st or 2nd Qtr possibility) We looking at back to back National Championship shots here at LSU ... Have a lotta Faith in Myles Brennan Joe’s setting the bar for him now ... Like I told that pretty Belizean girl last time I was there in 2013, “Stand back baby, we’re not sure how big this thing’s gonna get” Ramah smacks it down about Myles Brennan and next year for the herd ... http://www.tigerfan.com/threads/ram...ay-they-gonna-beat-dem-tigers-who-dat.164448/
Parrish will be a redshirt freshman without a single snap of game experience. I don't know anything about him other than he outplayed Tua's little brother in the Alabama state championship game. I heard the other day that Finley is not having nearly as good a season as he did last year.. I heard that Johnson has great mechanics and can make all the throws but he plays in a mediocre lower level division so who knows how he will transition to big boy football. Who is this Aycock you have a man-boy crush on? Brennan will be the starter and it's do or die with him. If he gets hurt we will be truly fucked. Still, from all the snaps Brennan has taken since his freshman season I see nothing about him that jumps off the page. He doesn't have to be Joe Burrow but he needs to make a quantum leap to even approach that level.
It seems like Brennan has made steady improvement, and his arm talent is off the charts. He’s also finally been through the buffet line enough times to put on weight.
Now that Ca teams are paying CFB QB's I could see MB transferring to USC or UCLA with a new spokesman endorsed deal to represent NERF he looks like one of those kids from the commercial except skinner and taller. NERF OH YEAH AWESOME I can toss this sponge 50 yards baby!
