Brennan looked really good running the offense on that TD drive

Outside of the obvious outcome, I thought that was a significant takeaway from the game.

I think we are in good hands next season.

Good yes. Definitely no reason for concern. The job is his to lose. But I don’t think he’s has enough playing time to determine if the transition will be seamless.

I also think he looked good, but not enough sample points to know if he can make the leap to starter. Hoping he will put in the hrs next summer with the receivers to build the bond and get the timing down. I think that Joe Burrow's hard work & leadership this past summer was the key to our turnaround.

He was playing behind the starting O Line. Makes a difference.

It's pretty much impossible to transition seamlessly from Joe Burrow.

Was just about to post that. Greatest LSU QB and it’s not even close. Possibly the greatest CFB QB ever. His greatest is beyond words.

I think the real thing Joe brings that will be hard to match is the hard work. It takes a particular desire to commit that much time to practice and watching film that most 20 year olds just don’t have.

Not being an undergrad helped; he did all his classwork online, so he wasn't wasting time actually having to go to classes. Plus the DNA was there; comes from a football family. He probably has more mitichlorians than Anakin Skywalker too.
