Will Harris may be the best relief pitcher on the planet right now. He always has that "Did I leave the oven on?" look on his face. Hitting is still extremely unacceptable and if that doesn't change this will be the only win the Astros get this series. I will admit there has been a lot of bad luck with line outs and sharply hit ground balls right at people. But still when they need the big hit it just never comes. The low point came when they disrespected Bregman by intentionally walking walking Brantley and he didn't make them pay. That's the entire post season in a nutshell.
Urquidy going tomorrow. He's more than capable and it really helps that he was an integral part of game 6 that put away the Yankees. So he's coming in with confidence knowing he can get the job done. Will be interesting to see how Hinch handles the bullpen since we used 5 pitchers tonight. He'd like to get at least 4 from Urquidy and preferably as much as 6. James should be good to give 1 inning. Same for Peacock. Don't know where we are with Pressly at this point.
Astros have fared extremely well vs Left handed pitchers (39-11 record in the regular season). So don't be surprised if we light up Corbin and early. But it still comes down to getting the big hit they've been missing almost all post season. I can see a 6-5 game tomorrow.
Last night the Nats intentionally walked Brantley to get to Bregman and he grounded out with the bases loaded. Tonight he made them pay for the disrespect.
