wow, was just joking to someone about how this stupid Pro Bowl could possibly get his shoulder injured badly again, and then this happens.

remember the dude who pretty much ended his career with some kind of outrageous knee/leg injury fooling around playing sand football? I know it's an NFL player and I am almost sure it was sand football during Pro Bowl week. I am sure someone on here remembers his name

robert edwards: 1,300 yds as a rookie, and he never played again.

Just released that the injury will cause him to miss at least 2 months. When do practices begin?

I think he played in the CFL after the injury... not sure if he still is though...

    EDIT: gotta love wikipedia...

He rushed for 1115 yards for the New England Patriots in the 1998 NFL season, before blowing out his knee at a NFL rookie flag football game in Hawaii. Edwards barely escaped the injury without having his leg amputated below the knee, and he was told he may not walk again. He would not play again until 2002, when he made his return for the Miami Dolphins. In his first game back, against the Detroit Lions, he caught a touchdown pass and ran for another score. He spent the rest of the season sharing third-down back duties with Travis Minor. After the season, he lost his spot on the roster to Leonard Henry. He is currently playing in the CFL for the Montreal Alouettes, and is the team's leading rusher, running for over 1000 yards each season.

not true. Brady is playing in pebble beach instead of the pro bowl. guys go, b/c they like hawaii... this wouldn't be a thought if Brees had not gotten hurt.

The first mini camp is usually in May. It's mostly all the rookies and some veterans goto workout and get back into shape. QBs and WRs sometimes go to work on timing.

I don't usually watch the ProBowl, but I happened to check in on it when that play happened. He pulled down by his knees just like Carson Palmer did in the playoffs and the end of last year. Scared the hell out me.

Brady didn't make the Pro Bowl, that's why is isn't there.

when one of the QBs backed out (I don't know which one), they asked him to go, and he refused. That is why VY was there.

But if he was chosen the first time around he would have to be there.
