Al Davis. The only person in football who can refer to Beano Cook as "young man." He's always had that fear of his glasses falling from his body. He must really like the pairs he's had the last half of a century.

It's obvious Al Davis is the problem! Look at he coaches he's had since Gruden: Norv Turner, Art Shell (WTF!), and now Lane Kiffin. Every time he was out looking for a new coach, anyone with who might have been half as good as these guys were too smart to even consider that job. IMO, Kiffin was being set up since this year's draft. Al says that Lane lied to the media about not talking to him, so the **** what! The genius in New England does stuff like that all the time. The reason you answer like that is so you don't have to answer the next question which is certain to get you into trouble. Then Al comes on TV and calls him a liar.

"I wasn't going to do this, but I will" Why do it then?! You're being messy. You couldn't just fire him you had to humiliate him. If you think you have means to fire him and not pay him, let the arbitrators decide that.

Bottom line, I think Lane Kiffin seemed quiet because he was just trying to keep his mouth shut. When Al realized he wasn't happy with it he figured he would start to do things so that he could save himself a couple million $$.

    That's just what I think.

With all that said I am by no means a Kiffin fan. It's just think he got screwed. And people wonder why USC fans are so narrow minded, Look at the alternative football. (Frisco and Raiders).

They can hire the greatest coach in the world, and it won't keep the defensive ends from beating the football to JR when he's in the shotgun formation.

I really feel bad for JR. That is possible the worst oline in the history of the NFL, now he has no coach, and still has to work for the craziest bastard in the league.

No coach worth anything will take this job until Al is cold and in the ground!

That's an NFL thing. Kinda like the Rams givimg up more points than anyone else in the league naming the DC as interim coach
