    So if we have 20 committments & Seastrunk & Reed are "must haves" & Dickson & Blue are mentioned where does that leave Storm? Gotta be more that 25 wouldn't you think? DD lists Seastrunk, Reed, Dickson, Wright, Blue, Stewart & JC Defense End Benay Pryer as the final eight.

    Storm, Seastrunk, Reed, a punter.

    That's 24.

    Dickson and Blue are far from done deals.

    One more LB, one more DL and one more ATH

    That's 27.

    It always seems like we won't have enough room when we start counting who we would like to have and who we expect to get. I think the thing that a lot of people forget is that unfortunately we sometimes have a few guys decommit. I think we had more than our share last year and only signed 24 with the intention of giving Josh Johns a greyshirt. I believe he is getting a scholly counting back to last class now though.

    I could see it because it would help entice Lache even more since he could be the only RB in this class because Blue is likely headed to Prep School or Juco.

    I just don't like having certain recruits kinda control who we get & who we don't. Happened last year & if it happens again this year both players we lost out on were highly rated.. Kinda like getting the wagon in front of the horse. It ain't gonna work for long... If they wanta come then come. what say you?

    Think we'll take another ATH?

    1-2 RBs
    1 Kicking Specialist
    1 LB
    1 WR (Reed, Fobbs, Wright, Carter?)
    1 Jumbo ATH/TE (Dickson I hope)

    26 or 27 is looking like the magic number I think. I didn't want us to go over 25.. but hey, I don't get paid to coach the team. I'm not sure we'll take another DT that's not a blue chipper.. I don't see any reason to at least.

    Yes my ATH replaces your Jumbo ATH/TE. I don't see Dickson in this class.

    My either unfortunately. What I would give for a peak at the coaches board :hihi: ... I wouldn't be opposed to picking up a BIG receiver (like DeAngelo Peterson) and slapping a RS on him and turning him into a TE..

    Why don't you see Dickson in the class? Don't know why in the heck he'd go anywhere else considering the success his brother has had.
