Nick Jacobs: Big TE who can play either TE or DE

Justin Hunter WR: Big 6'4 fast and can jump good deep ball threat

Mike Davis WR: reminds me of early doucette. not the biggest but is a great route runner

Eric Reid S: Great get will be groomed and will make an impact

Justin Maclin OLB: Oozing potiential can become a dominant olb

Tharold Simon S: Tall safety and may even be moved to WR

Zach Lee QB: May have to wait awhile with Jefferson Soph and Shepard Fr

Jordan Allen DE: I think he will become a dominant defensive end for us

Ronnie Vison S/CB: Would love to see him move to CB and give us a fast and physical DB

Evan Washington OT: a bit raw but a huge get who be an anchor for us

Luke Munice S/OLB Fast physical what more could you ask for?

Elliot Porter OG: Will be a good guard who may not contribute early

Houston Bates DE will need to grow more unless he can play linebacker

Tyrann Matheiu CB: Dont know much about him except that he's fast

D.J Welter OLB: Keep an eye on him, could grow into a good one

Brandon Worle FB: Will be competition for Dominique Allan

Cameron Fordham OC: Moves from TE to C will need time in the weight room

Sam Gibson ATH: great physical build will play WR or S or QB if he shows us enough

Jamarcus Hardrick OT: Will be a mualer for us at either Right or Left Tackle

Storm Johnson RB: Big bruiser in the mold of Charles Scott

Dexter Blackmon DT: Sleeper, but trust the coaches

    biggest need player

Lache Seastrunk RB: A MUST GET in this class, world class speed could do wonders for us

I got it as "pretty much", as you see I changed the thread title

State by State breakdown of the 19 commits

    9 Louisiana
    4 Texas
    2 Georgia
    1 Kansas
    1 Virginia
    1 Alabama
    1 Tennessee

Looks like we will end up with 12 Louisiana boys, which is about right.

re: Breakdown of our 20 commitments so far

When recruiting started in earnest this year I'm sure LSU had a top player or top 5 that they really wanted at all cost. Who were they? Have we gotten commitments from any of them yet? Will We? Would it be safe to assume that a super sucessful recruiting season would hinge on getting commitments from at least three of the top 5 players on the recruiting board?

Maclin, Seastrunk, Evan Washington.. and I was under the impression that Storm Johnson was near the top.

Seastrunk has probably always been #1. Trovon Reed, Evan Washington, and Maclin have probably also always been up there.

I know I also had Allen, Vinson, and Reid on my list of must haves in the class.

Tharold Simon is a WR all the way, imo. He looks way more natural there than at Safety. He looks good at safety but REALLY good at WR.
