he pretty much threw away a game yesterday with a bad substitution that stupidly emptied the bench when he didnt have to. he is probably the dumbest manager in the league.

I thought last year they were World Series shoe-ins if Randolph wasn't the manager.

well with the roster moves, the braves designated Franco for assignment today, hoping he will go to the minors until Sept 1 when the rosters expand.

first base is the position that you expect the most offense from. an OBP over .300 is nothing to write home about. it is barely acceptable. if franco keeps playing regulalrly he will kill the braves.

Makes sense to me.

He would be a major offensive upgrade over most of the 'Stros line-up right now.
