Anybody done a compare and contrast on these two similar trades? Hmm...

    Stros/Rays:
    Wheeler for Wigginton

    Royals/Braves:
    Dotel for Davies

Of course Wheeler is a better pitcher than Dotel, yet the Royals arguably got the better player. A young pitching prospect with great stuff, who's erratic. Meanwhile, the Astros got a 29 year old 3rd baseman that's not as good as the current third baseman. Hopefully this will make sense to me someday.

i'd say the new moves are working so far...

7 runs in the 1st inning for Atlanta with Tex.

EDIT: Big Tex just went yard opposite field to blow it open again. :)

i am watching the mets and brewers... why in the hell is Willie Randolph in a sling? lol

did he punch a wall after seeing the braves score 10+ in 3 straight games?

    answer: yes

braves lineup is nasty. well have to see how far pitching will take them. if hud and smoltz stay where they are supposed to be they could be a tough wild card opponent.

he had surgery to repair a nagging problem during all-star break. he said he wanted his shoulder healthy enough to throw BP with his boyz.
