I am going to have to stick up for the guy who you are replying too, because he is probably one of the nicest guys on this whole forum. But i don't think he was directly attacking UF fans as a whole, just the blatant ass holes, and LSU has their own as well. If you were calling for Spikes to be suspended then hats off to you, because i feel that you were in the minority. Its just funny to us how Urban Meyer tries to present himself as some saint, but we all know he would eat his own kids if he thought it would get him a few points on Saturday. He whines about protecting the quarterbacks yet his offense has put his lover in harms way more than any other player on the field. Meyer is a good coach, and has pretty much dominated in the SEC in a short period of time, alot of that falls on Tim Tebow, and Charlie Strong, but he is a snake in the grass.
Yeah, I may be one of the minority, but I would just assume he never put on a Gator jersey and helmet again. I am not the only Gator that feels that way. I equate it with the Auburn lineman intentionally cutting Dorsey in the knee a few years ago. Being dirty in hitting somebody late or pushing somebody is way different that a player trying to "hurt" another player. Going for somebody's eyes or knee is with intent to injure and non-excusable.
Mike and Mike addressed this the morning the bogus 1/2 game suspension came down. Golic was emphatic that the sentence was horsesh!t, and Greenberg asked him, you've been a position to know, doesn't stuff like this happen all the time? Golic said "No it doesn't. No - it - does - not." One guy, but a respected voice, and he was adamant that this is not common. Just sayin'.
