I think Lafell is gone, he is a first day guy, if not late first round, very early second round. Teams like the Giants, Bills, Falcons and Vikings need a receiver like Lafell with his blocking abilities and route running. From what I am hearing, KW is gone, someone told me he has like 2 or 3 kids. I think Scott will have a hard decision about leaving but he will stay,he stock will rise next year. RJF is probably gone, although he didnt do much this year, he has the measurables to make it in the NFL.
Williams just isn't tough or explosive enough for LSU let alone the NFL. He'll get drafted in later rounds by someone but I don't think he's tough enough to make it in the NFL.
Lafell says he is not thinking about leaving and will come back for his senior year as of now. He left a little wiggle room but looking good for his return.
We need him next season. I don't want to see a young QB with a raw receiving corps. I bet if Lee had continued to QB this team all the way to the end of the season and continued to show no promise, LaFell was gone. Now he sees how good we can be with Jefferson.
I'd be more concerned about the defensive changes than anything else. This team could have won at least three more games if they had decided to D up. The offense - rushing and passing - was there no matter who was quarterbacking...as is evidenced by his production alone (75 ypg).
If i was Lafell i would be gone. Possible rookie salary caps after this season's draft coupled with the fact that he had a great year and is rated in the top 5 of wide outs that would be in the draft this year. And as a poster said earlier in this thread there is a trust issue with Lee, or Jefferson. Can he put up big numbers that would solidify him as a first rounder for next season. To me he had a big year, not near as many drops, and the stats are there. So i would be surprised if he stays.
 For the season: 20 for 48 (41%), 277 total yards, 3 TDs, 1 Int, QB Eff 106.6. His only start (Arky): 9 of 21 (42.9%), 143 yards, 2 TDs, 0 Ints, QB Eff 131.49. Career W/L when he's played significant minutes? 0 wins, 2 losses Oh, but he's a great runner. Really? In two games, he's been sacked 7 times. Lee (the p!ss poor runner) and Hatch were only sacked 13 times in the entire season - combined! Lee only had 8 of those. JJ did fine for a guy who's barely six months seperated from his high school graduation. But he certainly didn't look good enough for Lafell to bet millions of dollars on. Silliness.
The way I understand it, (doesn't mean it's 100% correct), a late second round pick in this draft will make about the same as a guy that gets selected between picks 8-15 next year if Goodell gets his way. If this is correct, Scott and Lafell would both be foolish to stay.
Wait...he had a great year with those two QB's, yet he supposedly can't trust them to get passes to him?
I'll add to that the fact that Ole Miss and Arky have two of the worst pass defenses in the SEC. But it's the way he carried himself that defines him, IMO. It's the leadership he showed and his lack of tentativeness and his composure that separated him from Lee. Lee is still the better passer, hands-down.
