So the Redskins are playing the Giants today, and Laron Landry hit Brandon Jacobs late out of bounds. Made me think of the time Jacobs flattened Landry, also made me wonder why the hell LSU didn't try and draft Jacobs who is out of Assumption High. Also made me wonder if Jacobs who was drafted in 2005, and Landry who was drafted in 2006 and attended Hahnville High, ever played each other in High School, this would have been the time i was in Texas and didn't get to follow Louisiana High School football as close as i wanted so, can any LHSF gurus out there answer those questions for me? These 2 guys don't like each other, and i wonder if it goes all the way back to High School, or if its just because Jacobs ran Laron over.

and speaking of former LSU defensive secondary stars, Corey Webster and Santana Moss just exchanged blows, Santana is a little bitch, CWeb was doing his job and Moss got all pissy and when he got bitched, started swinging. Resulted in a double personal foul which offset, but that is crap, Moss should have been ejected.

I just got a glimpse but did Landry just push Jacobs down to the ground after the play was over?

So that makes 3 little fights by former LSU players in one game.

Well there was a play when Jacobs was hit and forced out of bounds and when he was out, Laron came flying in and pushed him when he was clearly out, Jacobs fell and slid almost into the wall. Then another play, Jacobs and Landry got tangled up in the backfield away from the ball, and Landry got the last push in, knocking Jacobs on his back, it seemed like the play was over, but no fouls were called.

Laron, while i love the guy, and he will always be one of my all-time favorites, he is a hot head, and i can remember numerous personal fouls called on him for late hits, hits out of bounds, face masks, while at LSU.

I don't think they played against each other in high school.

Even though they were drafted around the same time, I believe Jacobs was a Senior while Landry was a freshman or Soph and Jacobs was in a community college trying to get eligible and transferred from Southern Illinois which could be another reason they were drafted around the same time. Plus they were in different HS classifications and the schools are not very close to each other.
