Bama has a new QB too. Between Coker and the backup who came in when the game was in hand they threw ,42 times with a good completion ratio. Coker threw ,24 passes before taking a seat. Unlike LSU, they are utilizing all of their weapons.
It summarizes everybody's thoughts except for those few who can't see because their noses are stuck way up Miles ass.
My two cents worth is that Miles almost cost us the victory by getting too conservative. He hurt our running game by trying to force it. In my opinion he hurts the online, qb, WR's and RB's by not having any balance the second half. You get the most benefit from a guy like LF if he has an opening to hit.
Not only that, but a more balanced attack would almost certainly lead to more sustained drives giving LF7 more opportunities, not less. How many yards would he have had if we mixed it up just a little in the second half and backed a couple defenders out of the box? Could you imagine LF7 facing a defense where LBs and DBs have to defend a passing game too? That's how you get him the Heisman, not running him repeatedly into a loaded box.
Auburn and Muschamp are going to show ZERO respect for LSU's passing game. Muschamp will throw the kitchen sink at Harris to try and confuse him. They will have 8, 9 in the box consistently and either force Harris to beat them or let CLM lose this game with stubborn play calling. We need our defense to force some turnovers Saturday and we need to stretch the field.
