Well, to be fair, Vegas set the original line at LSU -1. The betting went heavy against us, and that's why we're an "underdog" now.
My father in law was the program director and dj for that station out of Shreveport, and brought Brando "Timmy B" with him to KROCK where he got his first sports gig. Valerie Bertonelli was also on his staff. He went under the radio name Shotgun Ken Shepherd
This afternoon, I was passing by the TV while doing some chores and one of the bowl games was on. One of the announcers said something to the affect of picking Bama because Nick Saban can't be beaten twice in one season by the same team. It pissed me off at first, then I just started laughing to myself. These idiots don't know Les Miles that we know, they don't know this team and, while they keep spewing all of this crap our boys are hearing it and getting more motivated with each stupid comment. :tigereye:
It doesn't matter what ANYONE says. It just matters what the Tigers DO on 1/9/11. Can't wait. :geauxtige :crystal::crystal::crystal:
I've been told this by people, which always confuses me. The Bills and Jets both found a way to accomplish this feat in 2006.
No problem; everyone knows we didn't really beat Bama the first time, so we still owe them a beating.
Tillman wasn't giving much love a couple weeks ago. I stated in another post he had Bama beating us easy this time. I think they flop for ratings. They throw the bait out and see what works best and sides with the better ratings. As long as my Tigahs take care of business on the field I'm happy.
