Most under appreciated guy in a while. What you think?

Francouer gets the undeserved hype, but this guy could be a HOFer.

    Just sayin.

no doubt about it. i have been saying for an eternity that francouer has done nothing to justify the hype, while mccan is quietly one of the most valuable players in the league.

Jeff Francoeur's OBP last year was .293. He walked 23 times while playing in all 162 games.

    That is terrible.

I love Macksie, but Francouer is having a better year this year, and Francoeur's upside will make him one of the league's best... sooner rather than later, whereas if McCann keeps hitting .260 over the next few years, he may be moved for Saltalamacchia, although I have to think Salty will be a full-time 1st baseman, because he is too good to sit.

    Francouer: .289 10 HR 58 RBI .329 OBP 67 K 20 BB
    McCann: .262 9 HR 49 RBI .313 OBP 42 K 21 BB

I agree about Salty...but we're talking about a Catcher here. And he has had his injury problems.
