And, just think, ND has got the most heraled high school QB in Jimmy Clausen since John Elway.

I happen to see some similarities BQ has with Dan Marino in that both were outstanding QBs whose standing in the draft suddenly plummeted, much lower then they should have fallen.

And, if you're going to mock Quinn's first practice, why not also mention the trobules JR was also having at his first practice- he fumbled two snaps from center (geez, where have we seen that before), overtherw Jerry Porter on a deep pass, and was having trobules with shorter throws.

If you want to spend your free time googling which male stars have gay rumors following them......feel free.

Firstly, the comparison was made between JR and Quinn, and the defenses they faced, not every other QB in the SEC that got picked first, but now that you mention it....

Couch was picked first.....by the Browns. You know, that team you are so happy your Quinn went to?

As to prepping QBs for the NFL, the SEC has quite the track record. Who was that guy right before Tim Couch? Some guy named Manning? And Eli was picked afterwards, so no, Couch was not the last SEC QB picked first. But there have been quite a few first round QBs from the SEC of late:

    2007 - JaMarcus Russell
    2006 - Jay Cutler
    2005 - Jason Campbell
    2004 - Eli Manning
    2003 - Rex Grossman
    1999 - Tim Couch
    1998 - Peyton Manning

Shall I start listing defensive stats or should the recent bowl season and demolition of the Big 11(yes, this is your conference) by the SEC and USC be proof enough?

By the way, when was the last Notre Dame QB to be picked first? Frank Dancewicz in nineteen hundred and forty six. Congrats, the same time my Dad got out of the Navy, after the war. That's WAR WORLD 2, in case you are confused. He probably enjoyed watching him 61 years ago. How long has it been since you had a QB picked in the first round? How long has it been since you had ANY player picked in the first round? It doesn't matter because ancient history has no bearing on this discussion.

Google that, if you can squeeze it in between your searches of what movie stars have gay rumors circulating about them. I know you have a busy schedule.

Next thing you delusional ND fans will say is Charlie Weis is in fact JESUS. Why dont you stop this crap please? BQ and Dan Marino, no sh*t? Jimmy "F'in Highschool QB" Clausen and John Elway? Why dont you go work that pipe like you've been adviced, dont feel sad the guy has already got a fugly gf, maybe Clausen will become your new "lover"...
As for the practice, you've got to be F'in insane if you compare both mini-camps, Russell is impressing while Quinn is FAILING to even make the throws.

Come on man, give the guy a break....He's gotta work the pipe sometime, u know...maybe it's his personal preference it be on movie stars and QBs, u know...
On another note, I feel sorry for Quinn, after all, he cant afford the Ferrari and Crib that Russell can and will have...:hihi: Not to mention he'll never get the same trust that Russell will have with his linemen..:hihi:

I went to the ND-Michigan game this year, and I know 2 good looking girls there, but they were pretty much the only ones. It was really dissapointing.

There's definitely an inverse relationship between attractiveness & intelligence. Few people are both attractive & intelligent, but a lot of people are ugly & stupid.
