I'm not going to comment on my opinion of women's basketball because it won't be a nice. But to go along with your comment about run and dunk ball, it amazes me how the art of shooting the basketball has become an after-thought in the college game IMO. At one point, shooting the ball well was a prerequiste to playing the game and certainly a necessity to get a scholarship. Nowadays it obviously isn't because I see airballs and bricks being thrown up in bunches. Maybe I'm getting old but college ball and players were much better shooters in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Things have dropped off considerably in the last 10 years IMO. My father's lessons to me were: there is always a place on a team for a good shooter in basketball and a place for a good fielder in baseball. Neither are very true anymore.
LSUCraig yep 11 years and is the most winninest coach in LSU history. The most SEC titles. Most post tourment runs. Also in the top 5 of most winning coach in the SEC. 8 of the 11 years have been winning seasons. 7 of the 11 have been tournment apperance seasons. Is that enough or should I go on. Am I saying we need to keep him no not at all. The last 2 years have been horrible and that is partly not fully his fault. But to say the man sucks is just ignorant. Who do you think would do a better job and we should hire?

Dale took LSU to the NCAA 13 times (including 10 years in a row) to Brady's four. Dale had two final four teams to brady's one. Dale Brown is second only to Rupp as the winningest coach in SEC history. Dale Brown had 17 consecutive non-losing seasons seasons. Twice National coach of the year-- Brady is still waiting.
