Stoops: Bradford Prognosis 1-2 Weeks Away - Sports News Story - KOCO Oklahoma City i really feel bad for bradford. to come back instead of go pro only to have this happen. hopefully he can make a come back. as much as i dislike ou, i have a hard time disliking bradford. he just seems like a good kid to me. this is a prime example of how our washington game could have been MUCH worse!
If it's his choice, there is absolutely no way in hell he misses the rest of the season and lose out on millions of dollars with teams questioning how that shoulder healed. He has to come back out and dominate like last year.
NFL teams have doctors. They willl know how the shoulder healed. He can also prove it in workouts before the draft.
I think he'll play. He came back to play, and he's a starter. It's in their head, when he is healthy, he'll play. Just my opinion.
The kid passed up a year of good bucks to play more college ball. Sure he'll come back. I hope he does well. I like stories like his. Wish pros couldn't pick off youngsters from high school or colleges until they're 21.
He will play again in college but he is an idiot for not coming out. Makes you wonder if he just folded under all the pressure the OU coaches, fans, and alumni were putting on the kid to come back.
Yeah, I'm sure Stoop's veins in his neck were all popping out when he convinced Bradford to stay. However, if he were at LSU, I'd be glad that he stayed.
i'll just tack it on here.... ou's te, grisham was out but unknown on how long. was announced today for the season. mri's werent showing the problem so they didnt know. i guess they did exploratory surgery on his knee and found some sort of problem that is gonna take major surgery, something that normally takes about 5 months of rehab. i could be pushing, i mean seeing, a lot of people on ledges around here.
I'm not an OU fan and don't like Bob Stoops but I've enjoyed watching this kid play. I was impressed very early in his college career and believed (still do) that he could be one of those rare QBs to have success at both levels. I don't mind watching OU lose (and see Stoops upset :grin but I hate to see a kid get hurt like that. I hope he gets a chance to return but I'm also hoping OU will lose a few more games without him.
