UT strands a runner in scoring position. Headed to the bottom of the 22nd.

I'd be shocked to see a Baylor-LSU rematch. What you have seen the past two days is the bulk of their patched up pitching staff. From this point on, its pitch by committee, and would have to be for the next 3 games. I really look for LSU to play the Gophers tonight. Today, very well might be Smith's last game coached at Baylor.

LSU better get their hitting shoes on. I'm pulling for Baylor because they only have the one left hander on the pitching staff. This is getting to be a real problem. Not even our righties were getting good swings against that southpaw. Even against the RHPs we struggled. I've never seen Schimpf look so helpless. Dean is popping everything up and Mahtook can't get it out of the infield. The opponents' pitching will only get better from here on out.

Even though we've been facing tough pitching I'd say the Tiger bats are slumping. The good thing is we are still winning the games. Hopefully they get the hitting slump out of the way and the Tiger bats come alive from here on out. If not, like you said the pitching they face will only get better.
