Wait...NCG tickets are $300 apiece face value? So after paying a "reservation fee" of $185 per ticket I would be paying $970 for two tickets? F*CK That!!
Then you're not going. If you expect to pay less than that for a pair of good seats you're going to have to get in line with everyone else fighting over the small pool of tickets given to each university. Good luck.
$300 apiece are for the "CHEAP" seats! I though those things were $150 per ticket are something like that…. I’ll pay face value plus a little…but that seems to be a scalped price plus an a$$ raping without courteous lube!
No, $300 is lower than I've seen. $325-$350 face value is what I was told from someone that should know. If you're buying on the open market you're going to pay a premium. I'd expect the $185 extra to increase as the game gets closer. Especially if it ends up being two teams that travel well. Scalpers will buy them at that price and resell them. EDIT: For the $150 you might be thinking of Sugar Bowl tickets. Price I was quoted was $180 each for Sugar Bowl tickets.
I got tickets to the game a few years ago at the Rose Bowl for $300 each and sold them for $1200 each on Stub Hub. You'd be lucky to get them for $300.
