Not getting Ed Ogeron is what most would call a blessing.

Very well said. Should Miles prove his worth and make the correct adjustments with the offense, like he did with the defense, the seat will cool off pretty quick. This of course is should the team show signs of improvement next season. Like many on here I believe that with the right OC and offensive asst's, with our current DC and defensive asst's, this team, under CLM, will be right back where we all want it to be.

Hey bro... you're in Memphis, and since you have Bama, UT, Vandy, UK, Auburn and both MS teams within your grasp... jump ship. And that goes for everyone else who's still got runny diarrhea of the mouth and love fests for Saban and all he never did here. Swear on it all if some of you were a record player i'd kick ya in the head to change your friggin tunes. At the end of the day, if you're not happy with LSU there's many other places i'm sure would gladly take you in as a fan.

No kidding... first season without him and they have the best start in franchise history... coincidence?

I agree with this entirely. We need an offensive coach on the sidelines that can prevent the far-to-common Miles blunder. Let him be a figure person, motivator, input on the gameplan, and make suggestions to his coordinators.. but leave the gameday coaching to someone who can get it done.

He cleans shop in the off-season, kicks ass next year -- and I'll be very pleased/impressed. He needs to get out of his own way sometimes.

This year has been a failure. Most predicted 9-3 before the season.. but once it fleshed out.. 10-2 was where the line is drawn. Next year we'll have new life on offense and a strong defense that will keep us in every game.

Hey Nooch, I don't think he meant "hail Mary" because he is a person of superior intelligence, as his post demonstrates.

I do not believe he could misspell hail Mary that badly. I think it was really just a simple typographical error...

hale merry must mean Hale Berry !!

    Perhaps you are correct.

I was just looking at the fact that many at USC say that his recruiting was a big factor in their rise back to the top. Then though he was fired at Ole Miss, his recruits have made the Rebels very respectable.

I believe with his recruiting and with Kiffin's coaching that within 2 years Tennesse will be a major force again.

I personally do not like Nick Saban as a person. He is a mean SOB. But I respect the fact that he gets the job done.

I think that neither Kiffen nor Orgeron will be at Tennessee after two years.
