Terry, I understand your position being a Bama fan is to not look positive on other programs. In life, I like to focus on the positives and make the most of what you have for success. Your post is a very negative post. If Louisiana Monroe can go into Bama and beat you guys on your home field then I like Bo's chances of what he can do with Nebraska's players and his recruiting efforts.

No one on this board believes Bo will be giving all of his time to LSU. What we do know is he will be giving the high majority of his time to winning a National Championship for all the players he loves. Our players and coaches wants Bo to be there and that is one of those huge intangibles that win big games.

As far as Bo at Nebraska, they know who they have and Bo knows what he's getting into. I like Bo's chances to have a better year then what Callahan has given the Cornhuskers the past few years. Defense has been a huge problem and Bo knows how to fix that. I will be a huge challenge. I'm happy Bo has the opportunity to bring the Nebraska program back to respectability.

Agreed. I'm hoping he has great success raising Nebraska. Those folks are great fans and are probably the most respectful fans of their opponents in the country. IMO, we need the Nebraskas, Penn States, Michigans, etc. to rise to the prominence they've had in the past. It makes for better football for all of us to see and enjoy.

Now, Miami and FSU? They can rot in mediocrity hell for all I care.

Agreed! :thumb: You don't sound like a delusional Buckeye, welcome to the board.

I noticed you left Bama out. Any opinions there??? Hint, Hint, this is an LSU board.

My post has nothing to do with your program and you won't find anything about Alabama in it.

My post has nothing to do with Bo as well.

The comment I made had to do with Nebraska fans watching this game and thinking about the future of their team. They have bigger worries than a game like this when it comes to their program. Those worries, I listed.

I think the tide of exiting recruits would reverse course now that Bo is back at Nebraska. They should be cautiously optimistic.

As a Husker fan I can tell you that you are wrong. I am having a party for the game and plan on making gumbo (anyone have a good recipe  ). Nebraska fans can't wait for this game! It is our Bowl this year :bncry: .

By the way, I'm not alone. Husker Nation has rallied to support our Cajun Friends.

And I was referring to those worries you listed. Why not talk about the positives of rebuilding instead of the worries???

I looked over the Scout.com and Rivals.com sites earlier today.

After reading your post a few minutes ago stuck my head back again.

For every single post about coaching, I found 8-9 on both sites that were talking about the recruiting situation.

By no means is this meant to take away from the joy of the bowl season and whether or not you will watch this game as "your bowl game." But, the concerns I see right now are with the recruiting situation. It may not be the case for you and your friends, but it certainly is representative of those two sites and the members posting there.
