Booing a college student is really a great way to help him improve! It's sad that people will do this to someone who is just trying to do the best he can. As frustrated as we get, we should never stoop to this behavior.
I don't like the booing either. But I'd say 1% was booing the kid. 99% were booing the coaches or the playcalling or the gameplan. Whatever you choose to call it. Hell it's La Tech and the only halftime adjustment we made on offense was having JJ take his pads off.
I never booed....ever but last night was the first time i booed and thats when Shep was taken out of the game after he ripped off a couple of nice runs and got us inside the 10 yard line. Why take the kid out when he was the only spark LSU had on offense. I wasn't booing at Lee but at what the coaches were doing. Bad, every bad play calling the entire night.
lol. i know. Honestly thats the only time i booed. I stood up the entire game and just shook my head and threw my hat to the ground a few time. It was like watching a train wreck the entire night. Can our coaches be really that stupid? I wanted to run my head through a brick wall and i felt so bad for Lee. For the most part it wasn't all his fault.
I also think people who boo at college athletes are morons. However, don't fret. From what I could see on TV, the stadium was half empty and I doubt all that many recruits were at the game. Fortunately.
Unfortunately, there were a bunch of recruits at the game. Not sure how many official visits we had, but there were a good number present on the field for pre-game.
