This is from the 2006 season. He said he got it from Mark Sweeney's locker. That damn Mark Sweeney. I knew he was up to no good.

Almost as bad as when Palmeiro stated he accidentally sat on a needle full of steoids.

I am still hoping for that career ending injury at the 754 homer mark for Bonds.

Bonds, Palmeiro and McGwire will probably never make the Hall.

I think Bonds will eventually make the hall. He was great before the steriod age started.

yeah but he would have ended up with only 425 homers. coupled with his god awful personality as well as being one of the biggest choke artists in post season history, you don't have yourself a hall of famer. so I say he doesn't get in.

I thought Tejada accidentally stabbed him with a needle that was only supposed to have B-12 in it.

Interestingly, the Giants new contract for Bonds hasn't been signed.

I can't believe it. When I read these stories, I thought the world had stopped turning. Yes folks, NLMD had a twinge of "screw this guy."

It's one thing to be a jerk, which is perfectly fine.
It's another thing to do 'roids and put on a great show, which definitely has its benefits.
It's perfectly fine to be a horrible teammate on the most individual of team sports.
I'm even OK with him denying 'roids and essentially throwing it in everyone's faces, because everybody associated with MLB endorsed steroids.

But I do not like him throwing another guy under the bus. Not one bit. That crosses the crooked NLMD line of palatable behavior.

It's about damn time someone finally made it across that NLMD palatable behavior line. I was beginning to think it was near impossible.

nothing like throwing a vagabond pinch hitter under the bus.

    bonds is a jerk, and
someday he'll end up in the hall...and just maybe as some type of consolation his plaque will say what a schmuck he was.

Very true...it is a staggering standard that can typically only be crossed by pedophiles and wife beaters. However, snitches do it too. Even if it's a made up snitch, which this one appears to be.

Luckily Barry has about 16 years of goodwill built up with me, so I don't totally despise the guy. But he's definitely got a big chink in his armor, and I don't mean a sumo wrestler.
