Fox has been Hollywood entertainment. Fox News is the child of Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes and is a startup. Well funded yes but it exploded because it filled a hole...a very large hole caused by liberal media. Totally different and Fox Entertainment is not germane to this discussion.
This is really bad, lol. FNC has been in existence for just over 20 years. And it was never dependent on "rich parents". Rupert Murdoch became naturalized precisely so he could have major ownership of American TV and news stations. He and Ailes saw an opportunity to fill a void and they took it. Hollywood today, if you had to pick ONE entity that is ruling everything, it would be Disney and it's not even close. But then he also said, "Sayoc had a "zero to 100" temper and would sometimes use his 6-foot, 250-pound (1.8-meter, 113-kilogram) frame to intimidate other men" So here are people who knew or worked with this moron and neither of them can explain it but the media sure has it worked out....it's Trump's fault!

From there, it doesn't seem important to identify key differences, just to link them all, making the blame game quite easy, if not dishonest. 1. White man with violent tendencies kills 2 black men in Kentucky. He tried to get in to a church. 2. A man who railed against Dems sent bombs 3. Anti-semitic man shoots people in synagogue And yet, the story acknowledges that the Kentucky shooter has a history of mental illness. Is that hate or is he crazy? They discuss the bomber as being pro-Trump and a self-described white supremacist. Absolutely NO mention of the fact that he had a much longer history as a leftist democrat, apparently underwent a serious personality shift, and HE ISN'T WHITE. He's filipino. The synagogue shooter is describe repeatedly as anti-semitic, which he clearly is, and yet there is a repeated theme about jewish immigrants, making it easy to draw a dotted line to all immigrants, thereby casting doubt on Trump. And of course, no mention of the shooter's anti-Trump comments. It's just dishonest.

I don't see Trump as a demagogue any more than Obama was. If you want to follow the above formula, then Reagan fits the bill as well. My biggest issue with painting Trump as a demagogue is that it assumes his supporters are naive, brainless, idiots incapable of original thought, and lack the ability to properly discern the truth. That description fits at least some voters on both sides of the aisle and Trump has plenty of well-informed, common-sense voters who are tired of being painted as ignorant. A certain something like....the truth? Lol.
