I believe his point was less about Miles and Cameron and more about the POS Petrino. I couldn't agree more. I would have to hold my nose if Briles becomes our coach (no unlike how I feel about voting in this Presidential election in November). If Petrino or (heaven forbid) Kiffen become our coach, I would vomit. My biggest hope is for Herman. But that's who everyone wants, I imagine.
What about the people that want Jimbo? Jimbo isn't exactly running a clean and pure program down at FSU. (to be up front I would rather other candidates but I'm wondering, the same people who want/wanted Jimbo where do you guys stand on Petrino? I mean change for change sake is not always good (look at what we have nationally and all "hope and change") we need to change and look forward to a future to beat or at least compete with the gumps and win the SEC.
I agree with all of that. I was hoping for him as well at that time, and for all of the reasons you mentioned. BS. He has left everyplace he has been on bad terms. We don't need that crap at LSU. The character of a man who cheated on his wife with a student employee who was a former athlete at that university and was engaged to another athlete at that university is the character of a man that doesn't need to be the face of LSU to the world.
Don't want him at all. I was adamant about that last year and am sticking to my guns on that. The crap that he gets away with at FSU would never fly at LSU, and I don't think he can beat Saban anyway. He has two tough games a year where he is at and can out talent darn near anyone other than Clemson that he plays. That doesn't make him a great coach.
Herman and Briles could out score Saban and if we keep Aranda keep them from scoring too many points.
