Bobby Knight would be a huge liability to LSU. He can still coach the basics, I believe. I don't think he can recruit the top athletes required to compete at the top level, any longer. He's just too much of an abusive azz. Young men don't need to go to Bobby's place and get abused verbally and physically in order to receive competent coaching in basketball fundamentals. They can go somewhere else, be treated with a little respect, and then go on to the NBA. That's the way it is. Knight has made his bed, he's irrelevant. His jackass ways topped his career out. End of story. LSU does not need a coach who can't attract the top athletes.
