yeah and what about john wooden is he available??? what about larry brown, i hear he wants to come back to coaching??? i think coach K may leave that dump in durham to come here and he has less wins than knight so maybe he's more attainable. :rolleye33: bobby knight is a lunatic, the only thing he would bring to baton rouge is more mediocrity plus a media circus. his best years are way behind him (just like spurrier). i can't believe i'm hearing so much support for him. you have two very quality guys running our football and baseball programs in miles and maineri why bring in a coach doesn't get along with anyone? we just fired one of those.
Knight could never do anything but cause trouble anywhere that basketball took third place behind football and baseball. IMO He should be in the world record book as the world's biggest prick.:crystal::helmet:
Exactly. LSU was up by 12 or so in the second half, Knight disagrees with a ref's call, destroys a telephone on the scorer's table, and then all calls after that mysteriously go Indiana's way. Score is tied with a few seconds left, Indiana fouls freshman Fess Irvin who misses the FTs, Indiana scores and wins the game. Game was the Elite Eight in the RCA dome in Indianapolis. No home cooking, though. :nope: Indiana goes on to win the NC in New Orleans behind Keith Smart of Baton Rouge.
