Kind of like when T-Bob got a DWI and got arrested and gave a black eye to the program. Also if I recall Sr. Day was the day we played the 3rd ranked team in the nation. I am not defending Miles but come on guys this Miles bashing is absurd. I agree the man probably had one of his worst nights as our coach. But let us not forget all the cheering we did this year alone in MANY big games include Alabama I. We routed 2 top 5 teams and beat another 1. This coach everyone now wants to fry has a better resume this year than any coach in football this year including Saban here is a taste Victories against BCS Bowl winners this year Miles -3 Saban - 0 (You could Argue LSU as 1, so give them 1, even though we didnt win but we beat them once) Miles had a bad night, he is human. Let it go. He is our coach and he is a damn good one as well.
We will let it go. Recruiting is coming up. But today is the day to bitch and moan and get it out of our systems.
My problem with Hebert is he would rather talk than listen. He should have asked the question about Lee, then shut up and let Miles give his wishy-washy answer. Then he could have followed up by throwing out a stat or two that exemplified our offensive troubles, and pushed him for a better answer. Instead, he went off on an unprofessional rant and had to be brought into line by the room moderator. So the whole incident became about him rather than Miles being cornered into defending his lousy decision, which is what everyone really wanted to see.
It was the right place, the right time and the right question. Sometimes it's better when the tough questions are asked. Believe me, what happened on national tv in the Dome should be much more embarrassing than any question Hebert could ask. Unless he knows what dirt JJ has on Miles.
