I understand, but it did not get an answer from Les and Hebert knew that it would not. He just wanted to vent publicly and embarass Les . . . and LSU.
Before the game Heard there was argument between Jefferson and T Bob before the game. Anyone heard that. Maybe just a rumor.
Heard it, but, T-Bob said (on his twitter feed)that it's the first he's heard of it when somebody asked him.
Did anyone ever think they would get an answer? Of course he wanted to vent as did many. I'm not convinced he wanted to embarrass Les, he was just truly that upset. The single positive from the whole thing is Les really needed to hear it. I don't think BH wishes LSU or Miles any bad will, he was a very very mad fan as were many of us.
And do the things we say when we are very, very mad always reflect well on us? I avoided posting the night of the game because I would've typed things I'd regret later. Bobby had every right to be upset, but as adults, there are good and bad ways to express anger.
Never said it made him look good, but it did need to be said and Miles needed to hear it. Many times we say things in anger that we regret later even though what was said is 100% true. BH could care less how it makes him look, he felt the need to tell it like it is and he did just that. I don't think he did it to be mean spirited although he was indeed shocked, confused and angry. It could end up being a great positive for Miles. He needed to hear it just like he got it. JMO
It's cool that you feel that way, but we'll have to agree to disagree. I've known a few people who like "to tell it like it is"--often trying to hurt the person they're telling it to. To me, that's just cruel.
It wasn't like it was something planned IMO, it seemed very off the cuff. It was immediately following the game. I was at the game and believe me most fans leaving the game, if given the opportunity to ask Miles a question at that very time would have come off as very angry also. Most are still angry and upset today, so the Coward interview isn't surprising to me in the least either.
And yet he still ducked the question and got away with ducking it. If you heard the way the Claiborne/Brockers presser went down today, it's clear he is not going to be taking any more questions about 1/9/12.
