P&G, many of us don't object to an "evaluation" taking place. We object to it being done in public. Hurts a good man and LSU titan, hurts the players, hurts the assistant coaches, hurts recruiting, hurts the University. Shameful and incompetent way to handle the situation.
Mixed, but with notable successes, including asst coaches who went on to become head coaches or to the NFL. And hiring Coach O and a Superbowl winning offensive coordinator. Whatever happens, LSU needs to epitomize class in how they deal with Les. He's earned it. Period. Alleva? Anderson? Don't let the door hit your asses on the way out. Buh-bye.
Cameron had more of a hand in it than the OC at the time. He gets at least partial credit for the win. He was a prime time catch when hired.
He got fired before the regular season ended, he's not a Super Bowl winning OC. If he has any input on the offense here I can see why he was fired.
What we are seeing here is exactly why he was fired at Baltimore... simple, predictable and unimaginative offense.
Absolutely. This should have been handled behind closed doors. Yesterday's BOS comments did nothing for team moral. I said nothing about whether Les should stay or go. Not the point. How this was handled is the point.
"Fired" is a misnomer. He's going to be paid as if he'd finished his contract so, though I understand your point- even agree somewhat- no sympathy for Miles here.
