How about Les becomes athletic director? If the board was pressured by donors, doesn't change the point this should have been kept private. For an official LSU representative to have made public statements is a disaster. Now it can no longer be passed off as the omnipresent grumbling of a few fans.
This BOS member had no business going public with this at this time. Horrible. Seems like there's a contingent of not only the fan base that wants LSU to lose. I for one would NEVER root for my team to lose. And why has Alleva been silent during this? Perhaps that silence is telling.
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...les-status-uncertain-even-if-he-wins-next-two 'Evaluated' and 'fired' are 2 different things. Anderson is right when he says it's not the losses, but the manner of these losses. He is correct, and echoing the public. Miles will either heed the warning, or he'll have a lot of questions to answer. There is too much talent on this team.
You don't air your dirty laundry out in the public. This is something I was ragging players for doing a few weeks ago. And they are kids still basically, not technically, but may as well be. This is a grown ass adult. You don't do that shit. It seems like this is some underhanded shit and Anderson clearly wants Les gone and this is his way of getting the wheels put in motion and causing distractions so the team will tank.
Players have tanked 2 weeks in a row, and 2 yrs in a row to the same teams. Dirty laundry is already being aired out by the lack of motivation and will to win by the players and coaches, which starts with the Head Coach. Miles isn't beyond this public warning. Where I've read, most are expecting LSU to tank against Ole Miss and A&M. I believe LSU wins both games. It's up to Miles to have this team ready. I believe Anderson is getting tired of getting phone calls from alumni, boosters, and fans, and said "ok , I'll appease you all"
Les would be responsible for evaluating and hiring coaches. And his ability to do that with assistants has had mixed success at best. Then again, same goes for Alleva. Besides, this genius Anderson has probably poisoned that well now. As well as given Les every incentive to take LSU to the cleaners for his full buyout rather than negotiate a golden parachute if they decide to fire him.
