Yardage... Added LSU from those years just for reference...damn we had a run of stout defenses. We were 8th in 2002, too. 2003 1) LSU 252.00 ypg 11) Nebraska 297.15 ypg 2004 3) LSU 256.92 ypg 13) Oklahoma 299.00 ypg 2005 3) LSU 266.85 ypg 2006 3) LSU 242.77 ypg 2007 3) LSU 288.79 ypg 2007 was with two overtime games, too.
Add in an offense that no-one can stop and I'm starting to feel sorry for the rest of the SEC.Well, except for the Gumps!
Bo P gets a do-over. Nobody recognizes his career took a turn for the worse the moment he left LSU more than he does. Who thinks he’ll piss this second chance away? I don’t. His Nebraska Years were respectable but perceived as a failure to bring back past Osborne Glory. Nebraska has little or no recruiting base and the deck was stacked against him. He did his best but that wasn’t enough for the dreamers of Nebraska. He’ll match Ed Orgeron’s fire and that will be fun to watch. Defense is in good hands to continue this thing we got started.
Miles is not a do over coach. He was a good coach at Okue St. He won a NC and won 10 to 11 games consistently at LSU till he got too stubbon to change. Neither O nor Bo accomplished that. O did it as a do over coach. Hope same thing for Bo.
Great hire. A DC with some piss and vinegar. Give Mr Clean credit - did well but I saw slippage. We shouldn’t have to score 35 to win every week. Without an offense this past season that was Madden on crack , there could’ve been 3 losses. Like O Beaux is a perfect fit.
