I think if our pitching staff has a successful year, we will have a great chance at winning the NC.

What in the world does our starting rotation look like since everyone was either drafted, left the team, or got hurt....

The starting pitching will be the biggest question mark.

The Tigers are getting some respect up here in Coastal Carolina country. I was listening to the local sports guy Friday afternoon and he was discussing the ealy projections which brought him to discuss LSU. He heaped a lot of praise on the program and wanted to know if anyone could help to get LSU to play Coastal in 2012!

My father-in-law was at a function with Mahtook who indicated that their pitching is going to be phenomenal. While it is unproven on the diamond, Mahtook seemed to think they have all the tools in the shed. I so hope this is true.

I keep hearing this....even CPM said as much. Also says the fastballs have increased 3-4 mph across the board since the staff has come on board. Ive thought for a while now that our staff this year will be more solid that last seasons staff.

I've had 2 opportunities to talk to CPM in the last couple of months. I am certainly no insider, but I did get to spend 4 or 5 minutes each time and he seems very upbeat about the pitching this year. I'm sure he wouldn't tell me or anyone else "it's gonna suck, etc" but he comes off as very genuine and seems to be excited about this pitching staff.
