Wack job? That's an understatement. I've been reading this guy's articles for years and I've come to the conclusion that he is a complete pickle kisser. I know someone who knows someone who knows the author personally and I hear he's a raging alcoholic. I will continue to read his articles just as I will continue to look at car accidents as I pass them on I-12. It's entertaining....as long as you keep in perspective that the guy writing the article is in a bourbon induced stupor. Geaux Tigers.
I agree that Tebow only knows one speed - full speed. I understand what izzie is saying about overcoming the mental aspect of an injury, but Tebow is in the top 1 percentile when it comes to mental toughness. The game plan, however, could change; though if he is cleared, that would mean he no longer has concussion symptoms and has no reason to be held back.
the author of this article also said that you would punk out and stop drinking half way "around the world" at the tailgate this weekend like you did two years ago. but i stuck up for you and said no way you're that much of a pansy. comment?
Sorry UF is no considered an underdog. Nice try though. If LSU wins it will be one of the biggest upsets in recent LSU history in Tiger Stadium. I cannot remember many times in this decade LSU being such a big underdog at home (According to Vegas)
Best Game in the USA in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night. ALL of the USA will be watching, even though most of em don't have a team on the field. Doesn't anybody know what it's like to play in Baton Rouge on a Saturday night especially if LSU is an underdog? I got a feeling most of the writers hating on LSU haven't researched the past history of these type of games. With all the talent LSU brings to this game, you'd think somebody out there would be a little worried about possible scenarios involving an LSU win. I think there's a possibility that LSU BLOWS Fl outta the stadium. I think there's a good chance we just win, no matter the points scored. I'm not an idiot and thinking that Fl doesn't have a chance, they have a good chance. But I also know what'll happen when LSU scores or Fl makes a mistake. LSU fans will be ALL OVER the Fl team so loud that Fl won't be able to make calls at the line of scrimmage. LSU fans are a GIANT part of our football team. We ALWAYS have the advantage of winning in OUR stadium with OUR fans. Do you think the Florida team is scared? Maybe not, but I GUARANTEE TEBOW and MEYER remember what it's like to face us on a Saturday night in TIGER Stadium.
And for this very reason, I believe Tebow will do everything he can to get in this game and play full bore.
i hope he and his parents realize his future is bigger than this game. if he's really ok, then bring it. if he's iffy at all, it shouldn't even be a thought that he see the field saturday. i think he will dress but not play, but i could be wrong, i think all the practice stuff is a charade. when people actually see him taking contact in practice i may start to believe he will play.
Not hardly, not with the status of Tebow. If Tebow were 100% it would be upset of the year. Still a good win. Your upset will be Bama if they remain healthy. Uf and LSU should be considered equal between your night game record and the QB situation. Neither are underdogs in my book-not this saturday. Stats mean nothing in a game like this, just like the Tenn game.
Well you might not consider LSU an underdog, but Vegas, the Media and everyone except a select few on this board considers us underdogs. I do. Do I think we can win sure. But LSU is very young at QB (Younger then your backup). UF is returning 2 deep on a National Champion Defense and LSU according to most has been less then stellar this year in every game they have played. Ironically I am a bit on your side. I think if either team doesnt bring their best they will lose, could be either But i assure IF LSU wins it will be called a major upset by the media and Vegas will not be happy..... Dont worry i do the same thing when LSU is heavily favored. I justify us not being favored so if we lose it doesn't sting as bad. But really be honest you are pretty confident UF will and should win. Dont worry you and the rest of America feel that way. We prefer being the underdog and being told we cannot do something. Works well for us.
Tebow is playing by the way. This has worked very well into UF's favor as LSU is trying to prepare for two QB's but I hope and pray our staff has been doing that anyway But Tebow is playing I assure you of that, and that is a good thing. We want UF's best win or lose. But Brantley is no slouch so no matter who plays UF is bringing their best. Because Brantley would be a starter at every other SEC right now except for maybe Ole Miss. He is that good.
