Thanks for the link brother. I wouldn't have thought to look for it this soon. Man!..I wish I could have watched this game.
Thanks for posting. :thumb: I missed the game for a very rare crawfish boil. Keeping tabs throughout. TFers always answer the phone! For this team to be playing 180 from just under two moons ago is enough to make you beat your chest. I love Dean’s swing and he does it with a stick, not a pipe and he has been doing it well. Every one on this team is playing championship ball and for me that became clear when Byrd stepped in a few back and pitched such great ball. Bats are alive and guys like Mitchell are bringin the bacon when it counts. The tradition of Tiger ball continues. :tigbas:
What's funny is right before Blake connected the analyst said the Tigers were playing to station-to-station ball. I laughed and said "not anymore".
Can watch that a million times, thanks for posting. Y'all are probably sick of my stories, but too bad. Tell me yours. I'm at a car dealership during the game, dropping a chunk of change for my daughter's first car. After papers signed, salesman went to get it for me. I went into one of the small offices cause I saw a few guys in there, yep TV was on, very fuzzy but you could see the game. I asked score, 6-4 gumps, bases jacked and 1 out. Watched and cheered with them as we tied it up at 6 all. Salesman came back with the keys and papers, I grabbed them, shook his hand, and ran back into the room. The gump fans booed after the second pitch to Dean called ball 2, and I said loudly "shut the hell up, that was outside and you know it!". The other guys busted out laughing, and I just grinned. Next pitch, BAM and suddenly we were all best friends, yelling and high-fiving all around! I drove the new car home smiling because of the Tigers, and knew I would surprise my daughter, left it parked out in the driveway. She was out, and rode up the driveway, jumped out and I got more great memories!
