I do agree that the President, of anything, is responsible for her or his organization. And that there is no substitute for management by walking around to keep a finger on the pulse of the organization. And listening more than talking.

I still don't see what all the hullabaloo was about. Was there overt discrimination against black students from participating in campus organizations and activities? Did anybody get lower grades because of the color of their skin? Surely supposedly intelligent college students weren't making a huge mountain out of a molehill because of a few insulting words by a few idiots.

I am not a fan of Obama. But if he were president of an African nation he would be smartest least corrupt guy ever to lead anything in Africa by a mile. Africa has no skill whatsoever in choosing leaders. It's tribal or stupid, or corrupt and awful. It's vote for your tribe and hope he gets elected and crushes the other guys. In America our candidates have Ivy League degrees and Rhodes scholarships. In Africa they have oligarch parents or the biggest weapons or must ruthless style.
