I was packing for a trip and put the game on but in all honesty only because of your and this thread. From what I saw no reason to be embarrassed. Two equal teams but 4 turnovers are hard to overcome. And they were incentivized. You guys really won all of your previous bowl games?
Yep, we were 6-0 since moving up from FCS level. That's all anyone has been counting BUT we did play some bowl games back in the 1930's era. Have to dig but think we were 3-4 or 4-3 during that period. We had a top 20 defense and I think a top 15 pass defense. 17 interceptions this year and and averaged under 150 yards passing per game, until our bowl game. They picked us apart. A lot of our younger fan base is freaking out calling for the coaching staff to be fired. "first" bowl loss ever, and no conference championship for two years running. They are convinced we are self destructing....
