App State Basketball opened today with the men and women in action.
Men beat SC State 81-61 and looked dominate. The lead was 30 when coach emptied the bench
Women beat UNC Charlotte 74-68. UNCC was much taller and supposed to be better. Angel Elderkin our coach spent time on the staff at LSU. She is a fighter. Video below is a good one.

 

App State men's hoops are playing the Carver Cougars tonight. Good guys are up 64-12 with 17 minutes left in the game. Wow what a tight one.
Football tomorrow against Troy ESPNU at 6 pm eastern (oops Changed to 3:30 ESPN2)

Men's hoops plays tonight at 6pm ESPN+ against Bowling Green. Men going for a 3-0 record.
Football this week against those pesky Ragin' Cajuns. Game has been moved from EPSN2 to the mothership. Time change also.

Well, it finally happened. Congrats to the Ragin' Cajun family. Ugly game, ugly year. Between injuries and covid and coaching changes and players sitting out...2020 flat out sucks.
We have now lost two games to teams that have never beaten us, will not play for a conference championship, are not ranked for the first time in three seasons and will probably have to play in one of the Alabama bowls. What a shitty year.
To top it off, we are losing because of our offense, Something that hasn't happened since the late 1970's

Best Saturday night of the season. We avenge at Georgia Southern and LSU takes out the Gators.
The link above shows us planting a plunger on their logo. Kind of a flush that shit payback. Last year they planted their flag on our logo and danced. This year we plant a plunger on theirs and danced.

App State to play North Texas State in the Myrtle Beach bowl Monday Dec. 21 2:30 pm ESPN
Much improved hoops team plays Tennessee tonight. We will see how much further they have to go to be competitive.
Bit of a disappointment but at least this year we are playing a little further away from Christmas Day.
