I f'ing hate that moron. In general, I have a serious problem with people who are unreasonably loud and/or obnoxious. If I could send all of the excessively loud people to an island, this idiot would be their king.

I really don't understand how his promotion of products works. The second I hear his insanity-inducing voice, I hit the mute button. Thus, I'll never be sold on a single item he's pimping. I understand that not everyone mutes him, but it's got to turn enough people away so that it would negate any positive impact he'd otherwise have on the product. Right?

And I don't know why ESPN thought it'd be such a great idea to get him to do promos. I mean, really, were there droves of people demanding more Billy Mays? If so, they should all be shot.

My mom has a Pampered Chef version of the Slap Chop, and she's had it for 8 years. Nothing new there, which may be the reason I haven't seen this infomercial just yet.

"You're gonna love my nuts." :hihi:

This guy is my hero. He makes stupid people buy crap that they'll never use. The products don't even have to work.

It just proves how many idiots we have in this country. Then again, based on the last election...I guess we already knew that.

Maybe he could sell a housing market bailout package for $19.95! If you act now, he'll throw in an auto industry bailout free!

True. I, too, was surprised at how many people actually voted for McCain.

Political potshots aside, it really is a very sad mark on society that this guy is considered marketable.

I don't know, the guy is pretty good.
I was up pretty late one night checking out the info-mercial channel and he was hawking this steam cleaner/vacuum looking thing.
they dumped a good bit of used motor oil onto some carpet, then rolled over it with this big ass wheel type thing (you know to really set the stain into the carpet).
This vacuum thing sucked all of that sh!t out of the carpet.

    Almost bought one.
You know just in case I ever decided to pull my truck into my living room for my next oil change.

Taking advantage of stupid people is an easy way to make money. People believe 9/11 was staged by our government...they believe the levees in New Orleans were blown up during Hurricane Katrina...they buy pet rocks...and will even send money to supposedly have a star named after them.

Hell...people even tune in daily to listen to Oprah...:nope:

Look at New Orleans...the city was under water and in ruins yet many decided to use their government cheese to buy spinner wheels instead of improving their condition.
