From what I understand, when BG got here, one of his first things was to approach Crowton on the tempo of the game about getting plays in quicker, players to the line quicker, getting WRs open quicker, QBs going through reads quicker, etc. Apparently, he's helped infuse a fast-paced style of gameplay that Crowton is assimilating. I heard Crowton on the radio talk about how he and BG are working together on the offense. Could be interesting.
We'll see if he enhances the passing game. I think he will. One thing I like already is that he is said to be making the Tigers hustle back in practice and they are getting more offensive plays in. everry little bit helps.
I'm glad you mentioned that because I couldn't believe what I was hearing before that. It showed on the field as well. Practice like you play. I think the difference will be seen on the field this year.
I truly think he's our "OC in waiting" and yeah UM was VERY upset he came here. CLM is not as dumb as he appears to be, look at his hires when he needs to make a chang he seems to make the right one !!!
Hustling back sounds good. Maybe with all the practice hustle, we won't have them cramping and looking weak during the games. Good to see him making them practice how he wants to play.
Ass't coaches make head Coaches look good. Head Coaches don't coach players - it is the Ass't coach job.
