I was told that for a good while McCarthy was an office only coach. Strictly hands off due to some internal problems, so that would explain the lack of fundamentals being taught by him. Why others could not assume that role is a mystery to me. Maybe the NCAA only allows so many coaches on staff so the WR really could not get the attention needed due to time constraints.:huh:
