Last night was the 1st time he has been available for comment since he was hired and some encouraging reports from practice already. Press the camera right next to the title of the blog post for the video interview: WBRZ News 2 Louisiana : Baton Rouge, LA | View Blogs
BTW, they have not designated him a recruiting territory yet. He is focusing on WR prospects nationally for now.
I called for McCarthy's firing during 2007 when it was apparent that our recievers were having trouble with route running, drops, and attitude. Hopefully this will contribute to turning things around on offense. http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/58945-official-lsu-vs-tulane-game-thread-6.html#post642616 http://www.tigerforums.com/tigers-den/62026-official-lsu-vs-la-tech-game-thread-14.html#post677682
For what it's worth, finally there's some good news in regards to the offense. Seems like good guy who's pretty amped to be here; can't wait to see the results.
This is good news. Maybe if Miles surrounds Crowton with superior coaching talent the offense will be able to produce.
There has to be some credence to this since Tebow had pretty good numbers even though he is a Tight End turned Quarterback. Good receiver routes made him a pretty decent QB I heard.
Sounds encouraging, but it is the honeymoon period and it seems ALL initial interviews and reports are positive in a case like this. They don't all work out. I want to see the offense first. Sorry to be a party pooper, but seeing is believing.
